This place in Rajasthan is located just 300-km away from Delhi. The first sight of the fort will captivate you the fortification is surrounded by lush green grass and you will forget that you are standing in the desert state of Rajasthan. Legends state that the entire township was wiped out in a day and locals say that till date whoever has stayed inside the fortification after dusk was never found.

Legends behind Bhangarh:

One legend states that the city was cursed by the Guru Balu Nath. He had allowed the construction of the city on a condition, “The moment the shadows of your palaces touch me, the city shall be no more!” It is said that a descendant prince raised the walls to a height whose shadows reached 0Balu Nath’s forbidden retreat and the town was cursed forever.

Another legend states that the beautiful Princess of Bhangarh, Ratnavati began receiving offers of marriage from nobility. But a tantrik, who practised the occult, called Singhia, fell in love with the princess and he used his black magic to make princess fall in love with him. The princess, however, foiled his plan and Singhia died. While dying, the tantrik cursed the palace that the city will be dead soon.

Jamali-Kamali Masjid, Delhi

This monument shares its boundaries with the famous the Qutub Minar. The place is haunted with Jinns who reside within the complex of the famous Jamali- Kamali. Several people are sharing their stories of experiencing unexplainable phenomena, while they are. Many thrill seekers often spent their night at the complex in the hope of sighting apparitions, animals growling, lights, etc. Several people get an eerie feeling. Several people have reported feeling someone’s breathe on their neck or getting a slap on the face. Some people feel that they are being watched from behind the pillars.

According to Islamic Legends, Jinns exist and they live in a parallel universe. As per legends when God made the world he created humans from sand and the Jinns from the fire. Since Jinns are made from the fire they are easily able to cross both worlds. Many a time, Jinns come into the human world and then they never leave, as they like to stay in the abandoned places. It is said that Jinns mostly live in peace but they get irritated by human presence. In this case too when the Jinns are disturbed by the presence of humans, who create a nuisance who visit the Jamali-Kamali Masjid they get a slap.
