Bahu Fort / Temple: is an imposing site and a popular picnic spot situated 5 kms from Jammu city. Locted near river Tawi, its the oldest fort which was built over 3,000 years ago.

Katra: Is the base station for taking up the Vaishno Devi yatra. The temple is  dedicated to Mother Goddess. The shrine is situated on top of the Trikuta Hills at an altitude of 1700 m. The shrine is approximately 48 km from Jammu.  According to folklore this is the 30 m long and just 1.5 m high holy cave where mother goddess hid while dodging a demon whom she ultimately killed.  The shrine at end of the holy cave are dedicated to— Mahakali, Mahalakshmi and Mahasarasvati, three forms of the mother goddess.
