Weekend getaways around Mumbai

Lonavla and Khandala: Are a must visit weekend destination especially around the monsoon. Located 96 kms away from Mumbai the twin hill stations have picturesque waterfalls and ponds. One can also visit sightseeing locations like Valvan Dam, Rajmachi Point, Ryewood Park, Lonavla Lake, Duke’s Nose, Lohagad Fort, Tiger’s Leap, Karla Caves, and Bushy Dam.
